Pun # 17 goes like this: " With her marriage, she got a new name and a dress."
In Texas, the spring egg hatch finds baby snakes about 6" long. By this time of the year, they have reached a length of about 12 inches and a thickness of about the size of a #2 pencil. This one was at that length and girth. They are beginning to look for a place to winter. People that leave their garage doors open find that they should have kept them shut for obvious reasons. This is the third year about this time that I have found the little creatures crawling. You learn to watch were you step and not to wear flip-flops even in well cared for lawns. Especially, don't reach into a cabinet or shelf where you store boxes without first looking.
Well, Dak and Tom go at it on the grid iron tomorrow night. Should be a good game.
