Just a bit of humor before the day's pun, which is kind of a tribute to Yo Yo...but it's a pun none-the-less.
Okay. Pun # 29 goes like this: "A plateau is a high form of flattery."
Okay. Pun # 29 goes like this: "A plateau is a high form of flattery."
Pun #28 is waiting in the wings. Cowboys win one!! Seattle is struggling with 100 yards of penalties in their game with Tennessee Titans.
Okay--- here we go. Today's pun is this: "He had a photographic memory that was never developed."
Titans just win in overtime against Seattle. Yes, I am not watching the Emmy Awards but elect to watch Kansas City and the Baltimore Ravens. It should be a good game..
Signs where trails meet W. Lawther at White Rock Lake. The sign sets it pretty clear.
If you haven't figured it out yet, I am doing some changes inside my computer. Some of the things that I say may sound simple. Well, some times they are. Then, there are the times when they sound simple and they are more like meant to draw a response. Got to remember, there are a dozen countries that read this blog daily and it is increasing. So, like I learned a long time ago about retail, never fall in love with your products. That same philosophy also fits to readership. Watching what goes on has always paid big dividends in the form of being a go-to- place to read the other side of the world. Appreciation to my readers in all countries is the goal. Big one, at that. But, you never know until you try.
Here's the pun for today, folks: Pun # 27. It goes like this:
"A boiled egg in the morning is hard to beat."
In down time, I have been working on my weak link: night photography.
Enjoy the last weekend of astrological summer. Fall arrives Wednesday, officially. Might try to get out to Addison for Oktoberfest at Addison Circle tomorrow. No Guarantees.
Pun # 26 is ready to make someone smile. Hope you do too.
Here is # 26. It goes like this:
"A lot of money is tainted. It taint yours and it taint mine."

We do like having you as a reader. Got to have a little fun now and then. Then, I got to thiking, my customers on Zazzle need a little humor too. So, I started adding color to some of my products. Then, remembering what mom also ran her life by, "Just keeping it simple." So I did. Hope you enjoy that side of this blog and the little things that help pay the bills to maintain the web site.
While growing up watching the launch of Alan Shepard into the sky and, every one thereafter on television, was interesting in my childhood. Must admit, the lunar landings and take off were a bit nerve-racking, but it became second place to me emotionally.
That nerve-racking ritual happened twice this year already with the billionaire space race launches and returns. Now, we have 4 average Joe's circling the planet for three days, higher than the international space station at 357 miles above earth. There is some puzzlement with the return and the heat shield that the private brand capsule has. There was some attempt to answer that question with Mr. Bezos' flying machine.
Well wishes go out to these human Guinea pigs. Yes, it slipped out in a reporters attempt to explain to people that they were doing science projects as to how much radiation their blood would get etc.,etc., without the training the "real" astro guys have. Hence, they are serving as Guinea pigs. That does not bother me as much as this: Wrapping my brain around the fact that people (for what ever excuse they give) will not go get a simple shot to end this pandemic, but other average Joe's are sailing around the earth 5 times a day. Excuse me, but that's just insane. Enough.... here comes the pun! (for today that is #25)
"Every calendar's days are numbered"
Hand made Alter and Wreath
#24 goes like this:
"He often broke into song because he couldn't find the key"
An interesting work of art Echo History
Today's pun # 23 goes like this:
"Local Area Network in Australia: the LAN down under."
Local area network, be it in Australia or the US is the tech name for your house telephone line, don't you see.
Those winds were substained for well over 40 minutes. The results were trees everywhere down or large branches broken off. One of my bus ro...
