Tropical Depression Olaf Glooms Dallas
The deep moisture from the Pacific Tropical Depression Olaf arrived in Dallas last night. This afternoon as it was departing, it blanketed the area in a low cloud deck.
While out checking on the Calatrava Bridge (the web cam site is down) I got a couple of shots of the low cloud deck. The water level at White Rock has been high with all the rain in weeks past. So, while out, I stopped at the lake to see an even higher lake from nearly an inch of rain last night. Much to my surprise, the parrots of White Rock were haning out in a willow tree not far from where I had parked. Although the shots are more of a silhouette, looking into the tree, the parrots can be seen. One, hanging upside down was more of a clown than the others.
